LADIES YOU DON'T HAVE TO PROVE ANYTHING TO YOUR EX




The realization that you don't have to prove anything to your ex will set you free to run after better things.

I've seen many people mess  themselves up because they need to prove to their ex that he/she made a mistake by leaving.

There was this girl I used to know when I was in the university. She was a cool, calm and collected lady. She was responsible and simple. Then, she got into a relationship with a guy in our department.

I must say that he never respected her. It was all bush shit. I used to wonder why she had to stay in that relationship till he called it off. Why she give him that luxury I don't know.

Well, he broke broke with her, she was broken and desperately needed him back. That was when I realized that her situation was hopeless. I stopped advising her, and would only ask if she would eat fried rice whenever she showed up in my house and start crying.

She totally ruined herself when she decided to prove a point to her ex.

She started with her looks. Her barber first gave her a very funny haircut that was supposed to look lite Anita Baker when they finish but the clippers had it's own mind.

Next was her dressing. This part just killed me. She went so out of control with her dressing and makeup. You could paint a bungalow with the gloss on her lips. She could wear a T-shirt, tuck it into a denim trousers and finish the look with a pair of flat slippers. In short, she did a good job proving herself a wrong choice for anybody.

It's so funny when people work so hard trying to prove a wrong person wrong (right). If you feel he made a mistake by leaving, let him enjoy the consequences of his mistake. You shouldn't be responsible for it.  It's foolish to be all over an ex's face because you want them to see what they are missing. You're only amplifying the accuracy of their judgement of you.

You owe yourself the right to move on and be a better person for yourself. It's not nice when you abandon the project of building yourself into the person you can be proud of, to begin outdoing yourself to prove to your ex that you can be hotter and sexier and more pathetic than they knew you to be. See, Jesus didn't hang on the cross so you can be a perfect idiot.

Why should you stress yourself trying get the attention of a person who ran off on you? If he/she probably didn't realize your value when you were together, there's little you can do to make them see it when it's over between you. If your ex ever comes calling back, it's because they missed what they had with you not because you know how to apply makeup like a pro now or dress to kill.

Get a grip on yourself and step up to being someone the next guy/lady can't just walk out without first thinking of what a single wrong decision could cost them.
