FIND OUT WHY MOST WOMEN ARE DEMISEXUALS
In an age in which we are constantly one swipe away from our next relationship, the idea of romance is rushed and convenient in a way that it never has been before.
Apparently, you should be able to follow your gut, or some mystical inner voice that tells you whether you're right for that person. But it's impossible for some people to operate that way.
If you've ever found yourself wondering what it means for someone to be a demisexual. and whether or not the term applies to you, then read on.
Demisexuality is just one of many shades on the scale of asexuality, but put into layman's terms, it's the difficulty in feeling sexual attraction for someone you are not close to or friends with first. According to asexuality.org:
A DEMISEXUAL is someone who does not experience sexual attraction unless they form a strong emotional connection with someone. It's more commonly seen in but by no means confined to romantic relationships.
Nevertheless, this term does not mean that demisexuals have an incomplete or half-sexuality, nor does it mean that sexual attraction without emotional connection is required for a complete sexuality.
In general, demisexuals are not sexually attracted to anyone of any gender; however, when a demisexual is emotionally connected to someone else (whether the feelings are romantic love or deep friendship), the demisexual experiences sexual attraction and desire, but only towards the specific partner or partners.
I'll be discussing why most women are DEMISEXUALS.
It is hard to tell this because we have a culture that condemns women when they show any sexual interest outside of a committed relationship. When a person takes a social penalty for saying that they feel sexual attraction for somebody, then few will say that openly.
We also have many people that don't respect people's boundaries. Some act inappropriately without any provocation and others will interpret any attention from a woman as an opening for inappropriate behavior. Because of this, women often hide interest until they know that person better.
Until we exist in a culture that is much more sex-positive, egalitarian, and consent-based, it will be really hard to answer this question.
Lastly, being a demisexual doesn't mean she doesn't like sex.
She might be a sex freak more than you, just that she needs to be emotionally connected to you first...
Infact no woman hates sex, just that you don't know the right approach to follow her.
